Enrol Your Child

So, you’ve decided that BCC Child Care is right for you. That’s great news! We can’t wait to get to know you. This page explains what you need to do to enrol your child and other important information regarding enrolment.

If you would like to go ahead and book a place, please give us a call on 9836 7942 to find out about current availability.  Next step is to download a 2022 BCC Child Care Enrolment Form and either email, post or drop it into our office. We must receive this form before your child begins child care. Once your child is enrolled, download the 2020 BCC Child Care Handbook. This contains useful information and may answer any questions you have.

Child Care Costs

9am – 3pm 6 hour block
$87.00 ongoing booking, casual $105 per session

9am – 4pm 7 hour block
$101.50 ongoing booking, casual $122.50 per session

How to Pay

Payment for your child care place must be done in advance and can be made in a number of ways:

  • By direct deposit
  • Over the phone via credit card
  • In person at 412 Whitehorse Road, Surrey Hills

Please note that bookings are essential for all child care sessions. Child care is available for children aged from 6 weeks up to school-age for a maximum of 15 hours per week. Child care is offered 40 weeks per year, following school terms. Bookings are made on a term basis, although we offer casual spots if a place is available. See our child care handbook for policies and other relevant information. A limited school holiday program is available during some of the term breaks. Please note child care is not provided on public holidays.

Get Started with CCS

Below are the first steps you need to take in order to claim the Child Care Subsidy. For more information regarding CCS please visit our CCS Info Page or the Australian Department of Education website CCS web page.

Step 1

Find out if you’re eligible. Some basic requirements must be satisfied for an individual to be eligible. Find them here.

Step 2

Register for CCS through your MyGov account and provide Centrelink with the required details.

Step 3

You will receive a notification from Centrelink informing you of your new CCS percentage and subsidy hours.
